Hi Hat thoughts simplified

Is it possible to  loose the completely open sampleand replace with thesound. I never would play the HH totaly open so why do we need that. Foot, closed and half - simpler no?  We can just let go for the half sound.  Double Bass could be played also as we can't use a drop clutch.

Have you tried calibrating your hats and then dropping you clutch a little bit? Works for me (and it's actually forcing me to re-learn my hi-hat technique as I've been playing DD4 for too long :))

Never mind this post as the open sound cuts of and we need that, letting of of the hi hat is the open sound I think I assumed another sample.

That's correct. As with the brushes, we hardly ever play this kind of things
So simplification would clear up things and leave 2Box time for developping the software editor

I use open hats, (not often)
in endings,  combination with crashes.
