I'm very happy with my gear but eventually I want to replace 2 of the crash cymbals for a better feel and that work better with the 2box module.

What does everyone else use and what have you found to be the best?

I have a 3 zone roland which is nice  - are these only for rides?

IMO dont use yamaha. I have them and im not happy with how they trigger. I do like the ride, however.

They work great as 2zone cymbals if you set them on the CY setting. As for 3z...well they need to be modified.

Jman makes nice trigger kits that you can add to A cymbals....or even plastic ones if you prefer. Trigger great and when used with A cymbals...look fantastic. Of course you'll need to add a strike pad if noise is a factor for you.

What Ive found with the yamaha is that striking the edge (on my cymbals anyway) the choke gets triggered on occasion and kills the sound. very frustrating IMO. Im looking to replace with either 2box or Roland cymbals.
