Broken cymbal, warranty?

Hi,

A few days before my hihat stopped working properly (i am not a hard hitter or something, i've used them pretty gently in my studio and for two gigs) the screws holding the box under the cymbal seems to have unscrewed themselves and the box fell off ripping one of the piezo cables of from the piezo. I'm pretty familiar with soldering but from experience i know it can be hard to solder something on i piezo without breaking it. Is this something I should get on warranty?

If it's under warranty, then get it swapped over. That's certainly what I'd do.
