New pad rings for the Drumit Five ?

The official french distributor, ALGAM, said on his forum
that the shippment of the drumit has been delayed because
they're going to use a new material to produce
the rings of the pads.

I've also heard that they're switching from metal rims to polycarbonate - it's probably a lot easier to manufacture, and I suspect a bit easier on the sticks too.

Aluminium is difficult to paint
Perhaps that's a reason, too

Could the new material cut down on the crosstalk?

Please play with the settings like on any e-drum kit

BTW: acoustic drum sets have crosstalk
That makes them a drum set
